GPT Image 2 Feels Surprisingly Useful for Creative Burnout
This might sound weird, but I’ve been using GPT Image 2 mostly when I run out of ideas.
Not for final artwork.
Just to break creative stagnation.
Whenever I get stuck designing:
- thumbnails
- interfaces
- scenes
- color palettes
- social visuals
I’ll generate a bunch of completely different visual directions.
Sometimes 90% of the outputs are unusable.
But the remaining 10% often trigger new ideas I wouldn’t have thought about myself.

The interesting part is:
AI image tools seem most useful when treated as “creative collaborators” instead of replacement tools.
I’ve especially noticed this when experimenting with:
- lighting styles
- camera composition
- futuristic environments
- poster layouts
- cinematic framing
Honestly, the randomness is part of the value.
It creates combinations I probably wouldn’t search for manually.
